Out of this groups, the ones that are classified as "amphibole asbestos" are crocidolite, amosite, anthophyllite, actinolite and tremolite. All of these consist of needlelike fiber.
It remains a controversial subject as far as which types of asbestos fiber are the most cancer causing. To be sure though, chrysolite definitely has a differing composition, behavior and texture than the other class of asbestos fibers.
